Group Script allows you to work with a writing coach, and a group of fellow writers to complete a film script in about four weeks. Upon completion, the script will go into pre-production as we plan to shoot the story as a film. Group Script allows you to participate in an exciting one-week program where four talented writers come together via Zoom to finalize the script idea.
 
Here's what you can expect:
  • Collaborative Script Development: Experience the power of collaboration as our team of dedicated writers provides valuable feedback and support to help you finish and polish your script. Through interactive Zoom sessions, we'll work together to elevate your story to its full potential.
 
  • One-Week Intensive Workshop: In just one week, we'll delve into script development, refining character arcs, enhancing dialogue, and shaping the plot. With daily Zoom sessions, you'll receive guidance, brainstorming sessions, and constructive critique to help you craft a compelling screenplay.
 
  • Rehearsals and On-Location Filming: Once your script is complete, we'll assist in organizing rehearsals and shoot the film on location in picturesque Frederick, MD. Witness the magic of seeing your words come alive on the screen and experience the thrill of filmmaking firsthand.
 
  • 10% Gross Revenue Share: We believe in recognizing your talent and efforts. As a token of this service, each writer will receive a 10% share of the film's gross revenue. Your creative contributions deserve to be rewarded, and we're committed to ensuring you benefit from the success of the project.

  • Group Script Terms of Agreement

    These Terms of Agreement ("Agreement") outline the terms and conditions for participating in Group Script. By enrolling in our program, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

    • Participation: a. You acknowledge that participation in Group Script is voluntary and does not create an employment relationship between you and Group Script or any affiliated parties. b. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Group Script.

    • Script Development: a. By joining Group Script, you grant permission for your script to be shared with other participants for the purpose of collaborative development. b. You retain the copyright and ownership of your original script and any intellectual property rights associated with it.

    • Collaboration and Feedback: a. You agree to engage in a collaborative and respectful manner with fellow participants, providing constructive feedback and support during script development. b. You understand that the feedback provided by other participants is subjective and should be used at your discretion.

    • Script Revisions and Finalization: a. Group Script aims to assist in the finalization and enhancement of your script but does not guarantee its acceptance or production. b. You have the final responsibility for revising and finalizing your script based on the feedback received during the program.

    • Rehearsals and Filming: a. Group Script may assist in organizing rehearsals and arranging on-location filming for selected scripts, but it does not guarantee production or distribution of the filmed project. b. You acknowledge that participating in rehearsals and filming is voluntary and that you are responsible for your own availability and involvement in these activities.

    • Compensation: a. You understand that participation in Group Script requires a payment of $49. b. In the event that a project based on your script is produced and generates revenue, you may be eligible to receive a 10% share of the film's gross revenue. However, Group Script does not guarantee any specific amount of revenue or compensation.

    • Copyright and Intellectual Property: a. You affirm that you own the rights to your original script and any intellectual property associated with it. b. You agree not to use any content or materials shared by other participants for commercial or personal purposes without their express written permission.

    • Confidentiality: a. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the Group Script program, including scripts, ideas, and discussions. b. Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information may result in legal consequences.

    • Modification and Termination: a. Group Script reserves the right to modify or terminate the program at any time, with or without notice. b. Group Script may also terminate your participation in the program if you fail to comply with these terms or engage in behavior deemed detrimental to the program or other participants.

    • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Group Script operates.
