Introducing SMS Novel Crowdfunded Group Films, a unique film production service that brings together 5 to 10 actors and writers to create inspiring faith-based films over the course of 30 days. Our projects are crowdfunded, allowing actors to contribute and support the film financially. With lodging and local transportation provided, the filming experience becomes a community-building opportunity, connecting faith-based actors through meals, prayer, and the filmmaking process.
Your role as an extra guarantees you at least 10 minutes of screentime, 4 live acting classes via Zoom, meeting your team to rehearse your scenes, and filming on location over 2 days. This gives you the opportunity to take part in a local film production for only 99$. Our new split pay option allows you to pay only $24.99 per week to take part in a project. This is a great opportunity for beginning actors.
Your support for our work allows us to fund 100% Christian projects. Our innovative funding model allows each actor to contribute financially. Once sold, extra actors receive 5% royalties for life!

Acting experience is not required to participate, as we provide 4 coaching classes for each participant. However, the level of acting experience and ability will determine the number of scenes and screen time you'll have in the film.

After signing up, please fill out our Actor's Intake Form, to schedule your audition date, and receive the group's Zoom meeting code and dates. (Please do NOT fill out form until you sign up.)
By signing up for SMS Novel, you agree to the following terms:
SMS Novel guarantees to produce the film within 30 days of the date of filming. If we are unable to produce the film within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of your contribution.
Signing up for SMS Novel does not guarantee a specific role, but a role in the film.
PAY IN 4 PLAN
SMS Novel allows you to pay over the course of 4 weeks. You will be charged the purchase price of $24.99 each week, on the day of your purchase, for a total of 4 payments, equaling $99.99.
ROYALTIES AND PAYOUT
Each actor will receive a bi-monthly royalty report of all direct sales, streams, and views from the film. They will be paid electronically via USD to the method they choose upon signing up. Royalties are equal to 5% of all direct sales daily from SMSNovel.com and bi-monthly from all other third-party platforms.
SERVICE INCLUDES ONE NIGHT LODGING AFTER FILMING
DISMISSAL RULES
SMS Novel reserves the right to dismiss any actor for the following reasons:
1. Drunkenness or drug use
2. Vulgar language
3. Violation of any safety procedures on set.
4. Insubordination
5. This service does not provide refunds except for proven travel delays.
